Sloped Roof Pergola Outside Washington D.C.

Our clients have big plans for their 16’ x 28’ patio, including putting a new hot tub in the corner. To help protect the area and make it more usable in less-than-ideal weather, they asked us to design a pergola with sloped framing that could support a polycarbonate roof. This required upsizing the beams to carry the design snow load, but otherwise nothing too complicated.
